South End flea market debuts April 30

SOUTH END - The South End Super Flea, a new flea market in Historic South End, will operate on Saturday, April 30th as part of the South End Soul events.

Coordinators will consider this a “pilot” flea with the plan to operate on a regular schedule, but for now it is set for Saturday only.

The Flea will be set up on vacant lot at the corner of Camden Road and Park Avenue across from Phat Burrito from 10am to 4pm.

Center of the Earth to close

NODA - One of the longest running art galleries in Charlotte's art district -- is closing down. Before NoDa was even called NoDa, Center of the Earth Gallery was a staple on North Davidson Street.

But after 20-plus years Paul Sires and Ruth Ava Lyons plan to close their business at the end of the month.
